Hello, students! Nice to meet you again here in this post!

Previously, we discussed word clouds and how to use them in the classroom. I hope you received some insights on how to improve the classroom interaction between you and your students. Now, let us talk about a tool that lets you interact and collaborate more with your students. It is Padlet!

Have you ever heard this tool before? If so, have you ever used it?

To start things off, Padlet is a technological and educational company that provides a real-time collaborative platform in which people can share and organize virtual boards called "padlets". You can use it in the classroom mostly to gather ideas, but you can also use it to answer questions, to introduce students, and even to play games! There are just so many fun activities that can be done using Padlet. I'll give you some examples of classroom scenarios to make it more clear.

At the beginning of the school year, the teacher may invite the students to introduce themselves using Padlet. They have to include their picture, name, and a short description about themselves. Another example, in a lesson, the teacher can ask a question and let the students use Padlet to answer it. Then, they can leave comments in each other's padlet board.

From the examples, Padlet has its positive traits as well as drawbacks. Firstly, Padlet is easy for teachers to operate and for students to use. Then, Padlet has many interesting features to catch students' attention, such as different color choices, images, gifs, links, and a few other things. On the other hand, Padlet also has its downsides. Some advanced features are only accessible with subscription. Overall, Padlet is a really great interactive tool that you can use in your classroom. Of course, you can use other tools as they all have different functions.

That is all for this week's post. Let me know your thoughts about this collaborative tool in the comment section!
